30+ years in hip hop is like completely unfathomable. The Beastie Boys did it. Not saying that they are done but the present incarnation will be no more with the passing of Adam “MCA” Yauch. This is a huge loss for not only hip hop but music and culture in general. The Beastie Boys have been a mainstay in my life since the first time I heard rap music, no lie. Rest in Power MCA.
